Huddersfield Prostate Cancer Support Group

The Purpose of the group is:

• to provide support to those affected by prostate cancer - including those who have been recently diagnosed; those making a decision about treatment; those currently having treatment and those who are getting on with their lives post- treatment.

• to provide support for partners/carers of those affected (in a separate sub-group)

• to raise awareness of prostate cancer and the need for men to check their prostate health.

• to campaign for better screening and testing.

• to keep members informed of developments in research and treatment.
